Robin is passionate about the transport sector and how the Immense team can help improve how we all do what we do. You will often find him out and about at events engaging with network managers, traffic management companies, transport operators and potential technology partners.

He is a transport industry specialist engineer with 20+ years’ experience in analysis, modelling and research. Former faculty member at Imperial College London and Lead Technologist at Transport Systems Catapult. Robin has led Immense from concept, through technology development to forming global partnerships and bringing our products to market.

Co-founder and Chief Engineer, Carl Goves BSc MSc CEng enjoys getting into the technical nitty gritty, turning the complex side of transport modelling into more accessible tools.

Carl is an expert transport modeller and Chartered Engineer, specialising in novel data and analytic methods for the confident appraisal of strategic transport systems interventions. He has an international engineering consultancy background (PB, public authorities) and an award for the London Olympic Games – ‘Greatest Contribution to London’ in 2013. Carl led the development of our modelling approaches and workflow automation and continues to advance the Immense platform on every level.

Vittoria Parisi BEng MEng MSc is our Head of Product Delivery. Vittoria loves working with clients to enable a successful outcome.

She is an experienced product lead with a transport modelling and Civil Engineering background. She has expertise in the implementation of modelling workflows and analyses for the public sector, including delivery to major UK and international clients. Vittoria is responsible for our product roadmap and customer success.

Dídac Busquets BSc PhD is our third Co-founder and Chief Scientist.

Didac embraces the opportunity to think outside the box and provide creative solutions to challenging transport problems.

A computer scientist with a specialism in AI and agent-based simulation, Didac has a background in academia and R&D programmes; Marie Curie Fellow (Imperial) and Fulbright Scholar (Carnegie Mellon). He led the development of our core simulation platform capabilities and continues to work with the team to build this out.

Emma is our Corporate Operations Manager with a focus on keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Emma oversees Marketing, Information Security, Data Protection, and our operations suppliers, making sure all the moving parts align seamlessly.

Emma is passionate about building efficient processes, solving problems before they happen, and creating stability across complex operations.

We couldn’t do it all without her!

Our Senior Solutions Engineer, Alkis is an experienced traffic engineer with deep understanding of traffic simulation and a strong background in both academia and the transport modelling industry. He brings extensive expertise in Traffic Simulation, Artificial Intelligence, Python, C++, Matlab and Statistical modelling making his return a valuable boost to the Immense team.

When he’s not applying his skills to complex mobility challenges, Alkis enjoys spending quality time with his son, and can often be found on the tennis court or sharpening his strategy over a game of chess!

Iain is a Chartered Transport Planning Professional (CTPP) with 19 years of experience leading transport planning and traffic modelling projects.

He specialises in developing practical, user-centred solutions that integrate transport strategy, traffic modelling, and engineering—empowering clients and stakeholders to make confident, well-informed decisions.

A transport modeller with 18 years’ experience, within consultancy, DfT and the creation of his own development planning platform.

Hugh excels at bringing in datasets in a resourceful manner, automating workflows to develop robust models that scale effectively, and delivering impactful solutions to the market.

With expertise in database manipulation and model integration, he ensures seamless data processing and efficient model deployment, driving innovation in transport modelling – always with an eye on demonstrating fitness for purpose and value to others!

Pau is an engineer with a strong background in modern discrete optimisation algorithms with a focus on fleet allocation. He holds an MSc in Aeronautical Engineering, an MSc in Autonomous Vehicles Dynamics and Control, and a PhD in Task Allocation for Autonomous Fleets. Pau has had his research published in several top journals and conferences. Before joining Immense, Pau developed engineering simulations to test the guidance systems for an interplanetary mission at Airbus Defence and Space UK. Seasoned in research, Pau is able to assertively anticipate, identify, and solve ill-defined problems effectively. He is also a keen photographer and loves travelling and skiing.

Gary King is a Principal DevOps Engineer with more than 20 years of Java development experience, including large-scale e-commerce systems built around IBM WebSphere and DB2. That background gives him a strong understanding of how enterprise applications are designed, deployed, and operated in production.

He also brings over 10 years of AWS-focused DevOps experience and more than 8 years building CI/CD platforms, primarily with Jenkins, Python, and HashiCorp Terraform and Packer. His work sits at the intersection of application engineering and infrastructure automation, helping teams deliver reliable software faster and with greater consistency.
