Immense announce launch of mobility simulation platform on subscription

The Immense Platform is coming – are you signed up?

Today British technology company Immense announce the launch of their mobility simulation platform to be available on subscription later this summer. Initially available through their website to all UK and US regions, the platform will be accessible to the rest of the world by early-2021.

The Immense platform de-risks the deployment of new mobility services and infrastructure assets by providing rapid insights into the movement of people and goods, enabled by powerful digital worlds, activity-based multi-agent simulation and advanced data analytics. It enables users to test the impact of future mobility scenarios to support efficient fleet management, infrastructure operations and transportation planning without the need for extensive traffic engineering or transportation modelling experience.

Where is it currently being used?

The platform has been proven through various deployments with fleet managers, infrastructure operators and transportation planners around the world. Global automakers are continually testing different scenarios for the future of mobility, whilst Addison Lee Group have used Immense’s London model to experiment with alternative fleet scenarios. England’s Economic Heartland are successfully using the platform for collaborative regional planning and other local authorities in the UK are testing the platform to move from traditional, time-intensive modelling approaches to embedded tools for traffic and incident management. What data does the platform use?

City models are generated automatically and made possible by forming alliances with the industry’s most trusted data partners. Immense has signed a global partnership with HERE for maps and network data and have agreed to sign global data partnerships with INRIX for traffic data, Telefonica for demand data in the UK and Streetlight Data for demand data in the US and Canada. Over the next few months, Immense plans to onboard several other data partners as a part of a global data ecosystem.
